Cold Rooms
Walk-In Cold Rooms and Back-of-House Cold Storage
Cold rooms are where the store's stock lives before it reaches the sales floor. Sizing them wrong costs either floor space or stocking capacity, and both are expensive in a supermarket.
SEEBERR supplies modular walk-in cold rooms built around the store's actual footprint and throughput — panel size, door position, shelving and refrigeration pack are all set at specification stage rather than picked from a fixed catalogue. Rooms can be supplied chilled or frozen, and integrate with the same refrigerant strategy as the sales-floor cabinets so a store estate runs one refrigerant approach end to end.
Engineering detail
-
Modular panel construction
Panels sized to the available back-of-house footprint, including awkward or columned spaces.
-
Door and layout to workflow
Door position and shelving set to how stock actually moves in and out of the room.
-
Chilled or frozen duty
Specified for the temperature band the store needs, not a single stock configuration.
-
One refrigerant strategy
Matched to the sales-floor cabinet line, so the estate runs CO2 or R290 consistently.
-
Remote monitoring
Supports predictive maintenance and early warning before a stock loss event.

Other SEEBERR ranges
Multideck
Open Multideck Display Cabinets
Open multideck cabinets are the workhorse of the chilled sales floor: no doors, full product visibility, and a temperature band that holds produce, dairy, chilled drinks and grab-and-go within specification across every shelf.
Serve-Over
Meat & Deli Serve-Over Display Cases
Serve-over counters put product at eye level and staff within arm's reach. For fresh meat and deli, the challenge is holding a stable deck temperature while the case is open to the sales floor for ten or more hours a day.
Upright
Glass-Door Upright Freezers
Upright freezers sell frozen product through a door. The two things that decide whether they work on a sales floor are whether the glass stays clear and whether the cabinet holds its band every time the door opens.
